Recently, the 18th Yunnan Provincial Social Science Academic Annual Conference, themed "New Quality Productive Forces and Yunnan's High-Quality Development," received over 200 papers. After expert group reviews and centralized evaluations, 51 outstanding papers were selected, including 11 first prizes, 15 second prizes, and 25 third prizes. Among them, five papers from YUFE won awards.
The paper "Theoretical Logic, Practical Obstacles, and Implementation Paths of New Quality Productive Forces Driving Yunnan's High-Quality Development" by Liang Mu, a young scholar from the School of Economics, won a first prize. Based on the current predicament of Yunnan's economic development lacking momentum due to traditional productive forces of weak-quality industrialization, the paper proposes practical paths for developing new quality productive forces with Yunnan characteristics, based on input-output theory, industrial structure theory, and spatial economic theory.
The paper "New Quality Productive Forces Empowering the Construction of Yunnan's Plateau Characteristic Agricultural Industry Clusters: Theoretical Logic, Key Issues, and Implementation Paths" by Zhang Jiayi, a doctoral student from the School of Economics, won a second prize. The paper provides theoretical and practical guidance for the development of Yunnan's plateau characteristic agricultural industry clusters and offers replicable experiences for other regions.
The paper "Research on the 'Four-in-One' Collaborative Empowerment of New Quality Productive Forces Talent Cultivation" by Professor Huang Li from the Business School won a third prize. The paper proposes a "four-in-one" talent cultivation model for new quality productive forces that aligns with Yunnan's industrial characteristics and local industrial development.
The paper "Research on Countermeasures for Developing Yunnan's Characteristic and Advantageous Industries" by Associate Professor Fang Zhu from the Journal Center won a third prize. The paper explores the enormous potential of Yunnan's characteristic and advantageous industries and offers suggestions for their rapid growth and strengthening.
The paper "Research on New Quality Productive Forces Promoting High-Quality Development of Green Low-Carbon Economy in Yunnan Province" by Associate Professor Liu Lifu from the Accounting/Audit School won a third prize. The paper explores the role of new quality productive forces in the high-quality development of Yunnan's green low-carbon economy and proposes solutions to existing problems in resources and technology.
