Business School Team Wins First Prize in “International Students in China Group” at the 14th “Zhengda Cup” National College Student Market Research and Analysis Competition

On June 2, the national finals of the 14th Zhengda Cup National College Student Market Research and Analysis Competition, organized by the Chinese Business Statistics Society and co-hosted by Hefei University of Technology, took place. YUFEs School of Business team stood out in the International Students in China Group and won the first prize. Additionally, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics received the Best Institutional Organization Award.

The Zhengda Cup National College Student Market Research and Analysis Competition aims to enhance the development level of industry-academia-research integration in statistics and survey-related disciplines and courses, promote the deepening of innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities, advance practical teaching, and improve students professional abilities. The competition spanned seven months, with 295,000 students from 1,063 universities across the mainland participating, making the competition unprecedentedly fierce. The team from Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, composed of undergraduates Lin Minrui, Zhu Ziyang, and Vietnamese international students Nguyen Thi Trinh, Qiao Chuoyang, and Pham Thi Phuong Linh, under the meticulous guidance of instructors Liang Zhen, Wang Zhen, and Yuan Ying, showcased outstanding teamwork and market analysis skills. They stood out in the national finals among the group of international students in China and won the first prize.
